Blackboard course design

Have you set up a new Blackboard course this year?  Or is your existing course ready for a tidy-up or overhaul?

There are a number of ways to make your Blackboard course look more attractive and appealing for your students, and to ensure they can quickly find the resources they need.  Firstly, consider how you would like to set up your course menu – would you like menu items for each unit, module, topic or semester, or just some general categories?  New courses come with three sample Content Areas, but remember you can have as many or as few of these in your course as you wish.  Click here to find out how to customise your course menu.

You can also brighten up you course by selecting a theme, and uploading a banner image for the front page.  Click here to watch a short video explaining how to select a theme, and this short video explains how to upload a banner image to your course.
