In this episode, I interview Dr. Tim Magner who currently serves as the CIO of the Louisiana State University, Health Sciences Center in Shreveport (LSUHSC-S). Prior to this position, Dr. Magner was the Executive Director for the Partnership for 21st Century Learning.
The interview is all about 21st century learning! Dr. Magner discusses how he is contributing to the transformation process at LSUHSC-S as it moves deeper into a 21st century learning environment. He discusses his prior work at P21, and how he became involved with that organization. Dr. Magner describes the direction he sees P21 and 21st century learning moving. The interview concludes with some excellent advice on how educators can leverage technology to promote student acquisition of 21st century skills and dispositions.
