Don’t worry, Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood, the veterinarian technology students at Globe University-Moorhead have your back.
In May of 2016, 11 Globe University –Moorhead veterinary technician students had the hands-on opportunity of a lifetime. They were able to assist in four neuters of four large adult male wolves.
Over the last eight years, GU-Moorhead has built an incredibly strong relationship with the staff at the Red River Zoo, including Dr. Tom Colville, DVM.
“Thank you for the important roles your […] students played in the procedures on the young Gray Wolves at the Red River Zoo. Past interactions with your staff and students gave me the confidence that the animals would be in good hands as we anesthetized them and went to work,” Colville said.
