GU-Woodbury’s Alumni of the Quarter: David Spangler

A diverse hands-on background in electrical and mechanical design and manufacturing gave Alumni of the Quarter, mechanical engineering technology graduate, David Spangler, the edge to get the position he currently holds as a senior process engineer at Boston Scientific.

David started in a small medical company that was since acquired by Boston Scientific. According to David, he was kept on board because of his experience and pursuit of further education.

“Having both mechanical and electrical knowledge is a great combination to allow an individual to not only create good design, but also to be able to effectively troubleshoot, repair and improve existing equipment,” said David. “I believe Globe’s program offers a good level of introductory training in both.”
