It all started with a tweet.

Sometimes a mistake can turn into a success. While browsing Twitter the other day, something caught my eye: a tweet mentioning the must-have 20 books written by teachers, for teachers. One book in particular stood out to me: 140 Twitter Tips for Educators by Billy Krakower, Brad Currie, and Scott Rocco. A few clicks later, and my Amazon cart was no longer empty. I began tweeting with excitement. However, the result of my happy fingers was that I accidentally sent a tweet to the authors stating that I ordered 40 Twitter Tips for Educators books, instead of writing the title, 140 Twitter Tips for Educators. Oh, how much power such a little number holds!

My tweet proclaiming such a large order of books caught the attention of the authors, who liked, retweeted and followed me! After realizing my mistake and feeling guilty over my accidental deception, I decided to message the authors directly. I apologized and assured them I was still very excited to receive my single copy of their book.
