Step aside Millennials. Generation Z is entering the workforce

We’ve been obsessed with millennials. There’s no shortage of articles and research on training and engaging the millennial workforce but it’s time to shift gears and prepare for a new generation of employees. Generation Z made up of individuals born between 1995 and 2010, is beginning to enter the workforce.

This generation grew up surrounded by technology and the ability to find the answers to any of their questions online (think YouTube, Google, EHow, and Wikipedia). These are individuals that don’t know the world without technology or the internet.

What does this mean for training professionals? It’s time to start planning and beginning to adjust your internal training strategies.
