When you were a kid, you probably had a lot of wild ideas about what you’d do when you grew up. Maybe you dreamed of becoming a fire fighter or a velociraptor – in any case, whatever it was, it had the air of awesomeness about it.
It’s doubtful that there’s a child alive who looks forward to a career in chartered accountancy or retail management. In that way, you can see how people disengage from their jobs when they realise that they’ll never be Spiderman.
