We hear a lot about how virtual reality and augmented reality can be used for educational purposes in science, medicine, the military, manufacturing, and so on. These advanced technologies are readily available and can be used to create immersive environments for learners. But how do virtual reality and augmented reality affect professional training and development? How can they be used for talent development? And how can we rethink our training content and strategies based on these new technologies?
These are just a few of the questions my colleagues Julie Castonguay, Instructional Designer, and Jean-Philippe Bradette, Vice President, Learning Strategies, attempted to answer during a webinar presented on September 10, 2014.
