Despite the fact that L&D departments have to work within the confines of rapidly shrinking budgets, research shows that these budgets are still being wasted by focussing too much on the actual learning event, and not enough on pre and post learning event activities. What this means is that organisations are spending the majority of their budget on events which do not translate into maximum learning effectiveness. So what can organisations do to change this?
