065: Martin Majlund – How to embrace the failure culture

In this week’s episode I am interviewing Martin Majlund, who is the founder of Sky.Garden, an SaaS e-commerce platform built for African retailers.

Martin graduated with a Masters in Economic Science in 2006 and then spent 5 years working agency side (advertising) before shifting over to the corporate side in 2011 heading up global tech at Carlsberg Breweries.

He founded Sky.Garden with Christian Grubak in 2015, quit his job at Carlsberg in September 2016, launched Sky.Garden in Kenya in May 2017, and today has 4,500+ businesses in Kenya using the platform. Martin is married and has his hands well and truly full with 4 kids.
