Moodle has a helpful little feature called auto-groups. This enables you to split your students automatically into groups. This can be done to a fixed number of groups (to match the number of markers) or split students into maximum sized groups (to help identify how many markers you need)! Once your groups are created, you can then use this to filter students in Turnitin or Moodle assignments so that you only see who you need to mark!
