4 Ways Learners can Use Virtual Reality with the Oculus Rift

Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer simulated environment that recreates a physical presence in places in the real world, or imagined worlds to create a sensory experience.

 The Oculus Rift is the leading tech device in the field.  The device fits like ski-goggles over your head, and the lenses display a stereo image which creates a 3-D effect, like an old View-Master - only it displays a 360º world, and you can look up, down, spin in a circle (don’t - you’ll get dizzy in VR like in normal reality!) to see the whole place.  

The Oculus Rift kits are only available to developers at the moment - and we have loved having one in the office.  Our development team is mad about it - the latest project was used to train employees on the company’s latest product, but they loved it so much they are using it in advertising.  Not many eLearning programs can say the same for their material!
