Education is evolving. A big part of its evolution is thanks to the internet. When the world wide web first came into being on August 23rd 1991, people knew it meant something big. Children started growing up with it at home, school and university.Soon they became representatives of the “internet” generation. 1. Access to information

Before the internet existed, people got the information they needed from books. Ask your parents or grandparents how they found out stuff. They’ll probably tell you they looked in an encyclopaedia.

An encyclo-what, you ask? Well, basically a big book containing information on lots of different subjects or many aspects of one particular subject. Anyway, the point is, to learn anything, you had to go to a library or book shop.
