#491 Virtual Reality on YouTube

Virtual Reality (VR) seems to be everywhere at the moment. Last week I spent an hour at a VR demo and to say I was blown away was an understatement. I took a trip to Mars, visited a battlefield and saw a Nigel De Grasse lecture brought to life all from the comfort of a classroom in Manchester.

It is easy to see how VR technology will disrupt education over the next few years. The technology is getting more and more sophisticated and now YouTube have their own VR channel. It features the newest and best VR-ready videos out there.

The best way to experience VR is to watch with headphones using your mobile device or Google Cardboard.

Why not start exploring some VR playlists on YouTube and see how they might work in your classroom?
