Alumni Spotlight: Vet Tech Graduate Helping Next Generation of Students

Globe University- La Crosse graduate Elizabeth Nachtigal recently got a new job at Purdue University. She is now the emergency and critical care veterinary technician in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Purdue. Elizabeth graduated from Globe University’s Vet Tech Program in 2012.

Elizabeth credits Dr. Christina O’Neil and Amy Stinson, CVT as two people at Globe University who helped get her where she is today.

“At the end of my educational experience at Globe I went on my internship at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Teaching Hospital in the ER and ICU. At the time Dr. Christina O’Neil and Amy Stinson, CVT were a big push for me wanting to go,” says Elizabeth. “It made me realize I love emergency medicine and that was where I belong. I think that internship led me to where I am today.”
