Appreciative Inquiry and Education?
As I studied Appreciative Inquiry I learned about its history and use as an organizational development tool to improve the performance, motivation, and engagement of employees. There is a 4D process used for its implementation and it includes discover, dream, design, and destiny. At the heart of this process is a strengths-based approach that builds from positive aspects, rather than a deficit approach that is typically used with performance evaluations. Appreciative Inquiry uses the same constructive perspective as positive psychology.
