Are you a change agent or looking for an agent? I can’t tell. 

I joined Twitter in February 2014. For two years I occasionally lurked and rarely tweeted. In the past five months, however, I have gone from lurker to active user, chat participant, and blogger. Initially, I was ecstatic with all of the new information sources, networking opportunities, and support system.  I had no idea that there were so many like-minded educators out there.  But, over the past couple of months something started to not feel right. At first, I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. But, now I believe I know what is bothering me.  For many #edutweeters out there, I genuinely don’t know the answer to this question:

Are you a change agent or looking an agent?

I use “you” in this question similar to the ubiquitous “they” as in “they say….” I am not talking to YOU personally. If you see yourself in this post, please know sometimes I see myself in this post. I am not trying to offend you. I am simply trying to decipher motivation and authenticity.
