Articulate Challenge #4: Flatten Up Your Course Design Skills

Challenge #4 was to create at least two slides in a flat design.

This was new territory for me, so I referenced The Beginner’s Guide to Flat Design.

I choose a theme based on the different experience levels of those adopting rescue dogs. I used a slider to move the user to different levels of information, each formatted the same way for clarity and cohesiveness. I experimented with motion path timing on layers and slides. Colors were chosen from Tint UI and icons are from freepik.

While creating this challenge, I discovered a shortcut to create the look of a transparent image background color. The screencast below walks through the simple process:
