EDUKWEST, founded in 2009, is an independent media site providing commentary and analysis at the intersection of education, society, technology, venture capital and startups. Though surely not being dogmatic about it, we at EDUKWEST strongly believe that the challenges education is facing today and in the future can only be solved with the help and enthusiasm of entrepreneurs who are open to try out new approaches and investors who are willing to take the risk and financially support education entrepreneurs and their ventures worldwide. EDUKWEST wants to build bridges between education entrepreneurs, or edupreneurs for short, and investors on the one hand and the classic stakeholders like teachers, parents and students on the other.
