BLP’s Statement on the Indiana RFRA

Last week, I publicly stated Bottom-Line Performance’s position against the Indiana Religious Freedom and Restoration Act, or RFRA. I was greatly disappointed to see the RFRA signed into law, despite protests from the Indianapolis community and local business leaders.

As we have stated, BLP opposes all forms of discrimination. We also oppose legislation that makes our community appear less welcoming or inclusive, as this does not represent BLP’s company values.

On March 30th, nine CEOs of Indiana-based companies wrote a letter to Indiana Governor Mike Pence in opposition to the Indiana RFRA. I applaud the efforts of these organizations to make the Indiana business community’s stance against the Indiana RFRA clear.
