Campus Director Travels to D.C. for the Gateway Corridor

Campus Director, Lisa Palermo from the Globe University-Woodbury campus traveled to Washington D.C. with The Gateway Corridor Commission to represent the campus and to connect with the federal-level partners and urge their continued support for the corridor. The Gateway Corridor is a proposed bus rapid transit line that would operate in an exclusive lane between Woodbury and downtown Saint Paul.

As Campus Director for Globe University-Woodbury, Lisa has the opportunity to sit on the Gateway Corridor’s Policy Advisory Committee (PAC). Through this role, she has come to understand the opportunities that transit investment can provide, including the ability to connect people with key goods and services and the possibility for economic development.
