Choose Your Own Adventure with Google Forms

When I was a kid, I loved reading “Choose Your Own Adventure” books. The ones where you would be given two choices at a critical point in the story. The book would instruct you to turn to a particular page based on your choice and the story would change. It would have several of these points in each book and so there would be tons of possibilities in one book. It made me feel like I could be in control.

Fast forward to today and I think one of the most fun and unique uses for Google Forms is to create a “Choose Your Own Adventure” activity or project. In this case, it is the perfect way to differentiate and create choices in student learning. It could also be a way for you to reteach a skill or give more practice. Maybe an incorrect response brings a student to a video that reteaches the skill and a correct response brings them to a more challenging question. Take a look at the form embedded at the bottom of the post for an example of what it would look like.
