Depending on the size of your organisation there may be some budget allocated to learning technology, there may also be different departments that deal with the LMS.

It’s important that you understand all of the above before you dive too deep into the LMS research process. If you’re building a business case, first and foremost you need to know how much you can spend which, way down the line, will determine the ROI of an LMS.
