Covid Impact: Online Learning Gains Favor, Student Mental Health Suffers - Elliot Markowitz, Fierce Education

Covid-19 and its variants continue to have a negative impact on student mental health in higher education. That said, however, online and hybrid classes have come a long way in a short period of time and gaining more favorability among students as the pandemic continues. These are part of the recent findings of the latest research study by Instructure, the makers of the Canvas learning management system. The report, “ State of Student Success and Engagement in Higher Education” explores how the pandemic has impacted higher education, and identifies six key trends globally.
