Creating Navigation Restriction in Elearning Course Using Articulate Storyline

In my previous blog, we saw the easiest and commonly used method to create navigation restrictions. In this blog, we will see another method to create navigation restrictions.

Let us now look at the steps to be followed in this method.

Step 01

Insert 2 slides with some content and animation.

Step 02

Outside the first slide, insert a small rectangle.

Step 03

Change the initial state of the rectangle to Hidden.

Step 04

Click the Create a new trigger button.

Step 05

Create a trigger as shown in the screenshot below. This trigger changes the state of the rectangle from hidden to normal, when the timeline of the slide is completed.

Click OK once you are done with the settings.

Step 06

Now, double click the trigger that has been assigned to the next button.
