Dell Alienware m15 R2 with Tobi Eyetracking Does Not Support Windows Hello

The title of this blog effectively says it all. This week we took delivery of a rather expensive Dell Alienware m15 R2 with Tobi eyetracking. One of the features that these eyetracking devices claim to support is Windows Hello. This is a great feature which saves you entering passwords or PIN’s when you log in to your PC.

But, unfortunately once the laptop arrived we found that Windows Hello could not be configured with this device.

A quick tech support inquiry later and it emerges that Dell customise the eye tracking platform and that Dell Alienware m15 r2 does not support Windows Hello.

We hope this information is useful for any prospective buyers of Alienware laptops in the future.
