NEWS: Award-winning designer, Kate Nicholls will be sharing the findings of a year-long project on the learning applications of interactive 360° video and virtual reality (VR) at Europe’s biggest learning technologies event.
Head of Learning Innovation at leading learning company, Sponge UK, Kate Nicholls is delivering a seminar at Learning Technologies 2017 (London Olympia, February 1-2) about her exploratory work with immersive technologies.
Kate, who was named Learning Technologies Designer of the Year at the Learning Technologies Awards in November 2016, said:
“My starting point for the project was a question: Can 360° content aid learning, and if so, how? With my team at Sponge, I’ve spent 12 months playing with this technology and assessing the possible learning applications. By combining elearning tools with the latest 360° filming techniques, we’ve been able to add an interactive layer to 360° video. I’m looking forward to sharing our discoveries at Learning Technologies and explaining how 360° experiences are becoming more accessible for organisations.”
