From 2021 to 2026, the global LMS market size is expected to grow from 15.8 billion to USD 37.9 billion. As promising as those numbers sound, how many of these companies investing in a Learning Management System for customer training are making good investments? It’s hard to say.

The first step to investing in an LMS for customer training is understanding the problem you’re trying to solve for your customers. In other words, what behavioral change or improvement in your customer’s operation are you looking for as a result of your LMS? Two, are you looking for a platform to self-host, or do you want a platform that’s cloud-based and maintained by the vendor (SaaS)?
