Final month before Learning Seat ends Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 Support

We’ve entered our final month at Learning Seat for supporting Internet Explorer 8.  Momentum continues to accelerate as organisations shift away from the insecure and old browser.  We recognise it has been a big change for many organisations, but the result is that those organisations who have upgraded are much more secure and have less issues when using modern web-based applications.

Microsoft has just announced that Windows 10 will be launched on July 29 with their new browser, Microsoft Edge, as default.  Additionally, it will be a free upgrade for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 users.  You may have even seen a new icon appear in your taskbar where if you open it, it will allow you to register for your free upgrade.
