Quiz and engagement platform Klaxoon raised 5 million Euro from White Star Capital, Wind, Arkea Capital, Xavier Niel, Cyril Grislain Karray and Xavier Gury.
Klaxoon enables educational institutions and companies to create over 20 types of interactive content like quizzes, surveys and brainstorming activities which can be accessed across different devices without the need to install apps or other software.
The startup also developed a dedicated hardware device called Klaxoon box enabling participants to use the platform without an Internet connection.
Founded in 2014, Klaxoon claims to have over 100.000 users in 114 countries and aims to reach 10 million in revenue by 2017. The new funding will be used to expand internationally.
