France: Nomad Education raises 800.000 Euro

French mobile learning startup Nomad Education raised €800.000 from BPI France, COFACE and a group of private investors.

The new funds will be invested in new features including adaptive learning, adaptive advertising for educational institutions, and further expansion into francophone countries including Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal.

Founded in 2011, Nomad Education has seen 750.000 downloads in 2016. The startup claims to have over 2 million users in France and aims to grow to 8 million users in France and 4 million in Africa by 2020.
