Free Downloads for August: Infographics: An Effective Training Tool?

Usually, I write my posts based on personal experience with my current or past projects. But I’m writing this post because I don’t have much experience using infographics for training! If any of you have used infographics as part of your training projects, please do share your experience in the comments section.

I’ve wanted to use infographics as a training delivery method ever since they became popular about 5 years ago. First of all, I am impressed with the mostly high quality of infographics design. Second, I can see the appeal of an aesthetically designed, static, infographic, as opposed to a badly designed animation which plays at its own pace and cannot be controlled by the user. Third, visual learners will find infographics to be very helpful. Fourth, I think infographics can be effectively used to deliver training on process steps, sequences, and facts and figures. Lastly, if short training capsules and designed as infographics, it will be less expensive than designing the same as e-learning.
