Federal Register Updates: Requesting Comments

August 8 – Three new items were put on the federal register for public comment: Ionizing Radiation Standard, Material Hoists, Personnel Hoists, and Elevators Standard, and Fire Brigades Standard. FDA to expand public education campaign to focus on prevention of youth e-cigarette use

August 8 – A new public health education campaign aimed to dicscourage the use of e-cigarettes is going to be implemented soon. Data shows that more than 2 million middle and high school students were current users of e-cigarettes in 2016. This is the first time the FDA is going to specifically target youth use of e-cigarettes as part of its public health education.
