From Talent Management to Workforce Architecture: Harmonized Workforce Development

How can L&D effectively prepare their workforce for a world that is continuously redefining how businesses operate? To respond to the unpredictable nature of work and the decreasing half-life of skills, organizations must reconstruct learning and development (L&D) to enable enterprise and workforce adaptability.

Today’s learning functions produce formal educational experiences that, despite improvements in technology and processes to “run learning like a business,” remain out of tune with individual and organizational performance needs. Our research[1] shows traditional L&D activities fail to help organizations and their workforces achieve business and career goals because of this lack of harmonization. In this webinar, we will present findings from our learning organization operating model research on how learning organizations can better coordinate, govern, manage, and deliver experiences and information to adapt for the future of learning.
