G is for Greece and Greenland

G is for Greece, and especially the Greek islands where I have spent many idyllic family holidays.

G is also for Greenland, (a very different environment from the image above), where I camped for three months at the edge of the ice-cap in 1978 when I was doing my fieldwork for my Honours in geology at Aberdeen University.
