General Education Faculty Spotlights: Kyle Whitely and Matt Wegne.

Globe University-Sioux Falls has welcomed several new instructors to the Summer Quarter, all with diverse and unique backgrounds. We are proud to welcome these instructors, who give new perspectives and ideas to our students.

Two of our new instructors, Kyle Whitely and Matt Wegne, teach general education courses on campus. Both were eager to get to know our students and share their experiences in the classroom.

Kyle Whitley:

Tell us about yourself!

I enjoy woodworking, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family.

What do you enjoy most about your subject matter?

I attended USD for Mathematics, Physics, and Biomedical Engineering and will be teaching college algebra. My day job is doing mathematical modeling in Clinical Intelligence at Avera.  I enjoy the challenge of solving difficult mathematical problems with a goal of reducing patient costs and improving outcomes.
