Globe University-Eau Claire Trains Volunteers in CPR

Globe University-Eau Claire and Girls on the Run of the Chippewa Valley are working together to help volunteers.  The college recently offered CPR training to volunteer coaches with Girls on the Run. Associate Dean and Medical Assistant Executive Program Chair Gretchen Johnson conducted the training.

“Networking between Girls on the Run of the Chippewa Valley and Globe University staff proved very beneficial for the girls of the Chippewa Valley,” said Karen Konz, programming director. “Safety of our girls is a top priority. We are so appreciative as a non-profit that Gretchen Johnson volunteered her time. The training was very comprehensive, it answered all our technical questions as well as many practical questions we had.  We look forward to other collaboration opportunities with Globe.”
