Globe University Helps Chippewa Valley United Way Set Volunteer Record

According to the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley, in 2014, over 740 volunteers participated in the annual Day of Caring – a day set aside to help nonprofits and public service organizations. For 2015, the number of volunteers increased to over 850, and Globe University-Eau Claire is proud to have participated in this record-breaking turnout.

Dr. Margaret McDougall and Shelly Klukas put the finishing touches on the museum entryway.

Gretchen Johnson, program chair of the medical assistant and medical administrative assistant programs at the Eau Claire campus, is passionate about volunteering. Each year, she and her students donate countless hours within the community. Gretchen was the team leader for the Day of Caring Globe Eau Claire teams in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
