Good email practice: simply respond

This short post is simply a plea to everyone (but especially those in a work situation) to always take the time to dash off a quick response, especially when:

someone emails you for the first time

: not spam or unsolicited sales email, but a real work-related email from a colleague, supplier, client or other legitimate person who’s making first contact
