Otus, the creators of the first ever Student Performance Platform for the K-12 market, today announced plans to move to 1K Fulton, commonly referred to as “the Google Building”. This move allows for an increase in space for Otus’ growing number of employees and opportunities for continued expansion as the employee and client base grows.
1KFulton is a century-old cold storage building that has been thawed and been transformed into a state-of-the-art LEED Gold certified (core + shell) office and retail building. Located in Chicago’s historic Fulton Market area, the building offers tenants the opportunity to work and enjoy one of Chicago’s most popular neighborhoods.
The original 10-story building is now annexed by a new six-story structure, creating flexible floor plates ranging from 38,500 to 71,000 square feet. Designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architects, 1KFulton offers stunning interior common areas, efficient floor plates, and sweeping unobstructed views of the skyline. 1KFulton is the first commercial building in the Midwest to achieve WELL certification.
