GU IT Graduate Discovers a Career Fixing Arcade Games

Jeremy Duffey knows a thing or two about hard work. In fact, prior to earning his two degrees from Globe University – Green Bay he said he was working dead-end jobs and even had three full/part time jobs at the same time.

“I was tired of working all the time for practically nothing,” Duffey said.

He did his research before selecting Globe University, touring and meeting with admissions at different schools in the area. Although there were cheaper options for college, Jeremy was able to complete his degree in half of the time that it would have taken at another school. His mother attended Globe University and highly recommended it to him.

Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in software development, he now works at Baytek Games as a technical service representative. He gets to travel and work with customers on fixing arcade games and troubleshooting problems. Duffey answer calls from customers about problems with their games.  He also works on games that have been traded in and to repair and clean them for resale. He’s got to visit Texas, Colorado, Georgia and pretty much the entire East Coast.
