Can we agree session presenters could use some help designing their slides?

Can we agree SMEs collaborating with us on eLearning typically do not  bring effective visuals to the table?

Is anyone willing to admit: “I know great visual design when I see it, but I’m not confident how to consistently strike the mark.”

I was there.

I had an aesthetic sense for learning visuals. I could see when a visual was contributing to learning or not. But there’s a big old wide open space of “meh” in learning visuals: not your worst offenders but not effective either.
