HEDLINE: Uniplaces raises $24 million Series A

Uniplaces, a student accommodation marketplace, raised a $24 million Series A led by Atomico with participation from existing investors Octopus Ventures, Shilling Capital Partners, and co-investor Caixa Capital.

Founded in 2012 in Lisbon, Portugal Uniplaces now lists over 40,000 student accommodation rooms in 38 cities across nine European countries and has generated over $25 million in bookings.

Uniplaces announces $24 million in new Series A funding from Atomico and leading European founders to transform the global student market.
