How Gamification Has Upped the Ante In Learning

The key to driving learning enthusiasm using gamification is expending key motivators—the feeling to master and control which comes whenever we know that we are doing the job well. Companies are mainly using microlearning as the standby for in-class learning as well as the way of providing on-the-job training, by keeping the employees ready for speed on the valuable workplace services.

The value of using gamification and microlearning together to achieve superior learning results is often misunderstood, as some people visualize a learning “game” which may look unwieldy and expensive, whereas others think about competition amongst learners. Both ideas are not completely correct, resulting in the misuse of gamification in microlearning in the workplace.
