The Superintendent Professional Development Program (SPDP) is a two-year leadership program that provides twenty-five aspiring superintendents from across the state of Georgia with access to professional development opportunities. Sponsored by the Georgia School Superintendents Association (GSSA), SPDP includes monthly seminars, conferences, and workshops focused on relevant issues for K-12 education leaders.
SPDP’s September 2014 professional development meeting focused on effective superintendent and school board governance policies and practices.
