How to Create a Class Twitter Account

Today I saw a teacher ask a student to log into the district app to see if a bus was running, then he powered up a SMART Board to teach students the value of the hydrogen molecule. Afterwards, he reminded the class that all their marks were going to be posted on the class’ website and parents just had to log in to check them out. And before that, he reminded everyone to visit his YouTube page. “Maybe you’ll see something with hydrogen, maybe something will blow up,” he said with a smirk.

This scenario is a daily occurrence as educators are becoming more comfortable with integrating technology into their classrooms. While they are creating content through a SMART Board, they should be just as comfortable in using one of the most powerful tools available: social media. Specifically Twitter.
