How Would Hamilton Launch a Learning Program?

As you may have heard, Disney+ recently released a filmed version of the Broadway smash hit, 'Hamilton'. For those of you who aren’t familiar, 'Hamilton' is a musical created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, based on the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton. During its original Broadway run, tickets were impossible to get, not to mention would cost you an arm and a leg. Now, with a Disney+ subscription, people can experience the musical for the first time from the comfort of their couch.

I was lucky enough to see the musical when it played in San Francisco. Since then, I’ve been listening obsessively to the soundtrack, doing my best impressions of the Schuyler sisters and struggling to keep up with the quick-fire raps of Daveed Diggs. So, you could imagine my surprise that when I sat down to watch the film my mind kept finding parallels between lessons learned in the show and the world of learning and development.
