Hybrid Managers vs Company Culture

This made for an interesting read this morning – Don’t Confuse ‘Being in the Office’ With ‘Culture’.

Whilst the feature focused on the hybrid workers to start with, as nearly all of us do (me included), it continued to look at/think about the hybrid manager. People like me. And you.

Under the sub-heading of ‘Managers Struggle the Most With Hybrid’ there’s this:

“Notably, Gallup’s analysis finds that managers are experiencing the hybrid workplace differently than other roles within an organization. Hybrid managers feel less connected to their company culture than do remote or on-site managers. They also feel less connected than hybrid leaders.” – Nikki Morin & Heahter Barrett

It’s true. I know I spend far more time thinking of and helping my team than I do about myself, but I still need to take time and make the effort for myself.
