I love Adobe Spark!

I had initially titled this post “I’ve got the empty blog blues.” I wanted so badly to turn off the “Coming Soon” Mode and make this thing live, but felt like this place was only half dressed. So I started to blog about it, only to realize it would make no sense once I turned on the site… because then it would be live!

But, this provides an opportunity to tell you about one of my favorite new tools–Adobe Spark. The featured images on most of my posts were created using it. Seriously, I think I have more projects in the platform than I do pins on Pinterest boards. Okay, I’m exaggerating–I’ve got thousands of pins.

What I like about Spark is that it takes care of all of those design considerations that go into creating a cohesive visual element that would otherwise contribute to my cognitive load, freeing me to work on things like… developing impactful and achievable learning outcomes or assessments that really tell me something about my learner’s experience in my course. As a one-person shop, it is a time and headache saver!
