Incremental Innovations: 3M’s for a Learning #WIN

This week we’re getting our first peek inside the US Bank Stadium here in Minneapolis – the Viking’s spectacular new home. At the beginning of the building project I worked downtown just a few blocks from the construction site. There was a constant flow of people (like me!) year round stopping by to witness this enormous new landmark take shape. What started as a crater where the #MetroMuffin used to be we now see:

a footprint twice the size of the original stadium that will hold up to 70,000 fans with seven levels, 131 luxury suites, 2,000 HD televisions, works from 40 local artists, the largest clear roof in the US, and 5 giant pivoting doors that will swing open on nice days and allow sunlight on chillier days put together by 8,000 construction workers with the price tag tipping just over $1 billion ready for the Viking’s 2016 season and the 2018 Superbowl!
